BIO
Claire Swale is an American soprano currently based in Germany. She is a graduate of the Royal College of Music in London, where she received her Masters in Vocal Performance. Claire subsequently made her professional UK debut in Grimeborn Festival Opera's The Rape of Lucretia singing the role of Lucia at the Arcola Theatre in London directed by Julia Burbach. This production was recognised at the 2019 Offies Awards as the Best Off-West End Opera Production of 2018.
More recently, Claire performed at the Schlossfestspiele Regensburg in the role of Papagena for Mainfranken Theater Würzburg's production of Die Zauberflöte directed by Andreas Wiedermann, which she sang in the previous seasons there.
